Our Team spent a beautiful Friday afternoon walking in support of Fred Victor. From lunch in the MaRS Centre to visiting their sites in the East End of Toronto, we proudly support the work of Fred Victor in rebuilding countless lives. Fred Victor is the ideal partner for the Graywood Vision Fund's mission to make cities happier and healthier places to live.
Toronto and Regional Conservation Foundation
In our continued commitment to making communities happier and healthier places to live, through Graywood's Vision Fund, we have donated to the Toronto and Regional Conservation Foundation. Our Team spent a full morning on-siter at Tommy Thompson Park learning and helping with the park's conversation efforts to improve greenspaces within our cities.
Toronto Metropolitan University's Urban Farm
Our Team had the pleasure of touring TMU's Urban Farm - the first-ever purpose-built green roof for food production under the City of Toronto's Green Roof Bylaw. Discovering the non-invasive ways you can use your green thumb to harvest throughout the year was a highlight of the event along with receiving knowledge on all the fresh veggies that grow. It's a pleasure having TMU's Urban Farm in Graywood's Vision Fund programming.
